Hold me now! My first Noonday Trunk Show is this evening!

A few thoughts pre-coffee on my way out the door to take the kids to “Saturday Tradition” (donuts and chocolate milk at Dunkin).

I’m so excited to tell our artisans stories of redemption and hope since they partnered with Noonday. I’m looking forward to styling some of my closest friends and finding out which Noonday accessories they fall in love with.

I’ve arranged and re-arranged my jewelry display like…fifty times since last night. I’ve gone back and forth about my outfit:

white and black peplum top with black skinny jeans

Like this with the feathered fringe earrings and an aurora wrap arm party

blackandwhite

or chambray tunic with tights?

Something like this but with Noonday’s Rustic tote and gold cubed stud

chambray

oh the tyranny of choice!). But really, I’m so grateful to have choices and opportunities to create choices for those less fortunate.

I’ve texted my amazing hostess encouraging words that I’m so proud of her because really, I am, hosting a Noonday show is one of the best ways to advocate for our artisans.

I’ve prayed for every woman coming tonight that she feels loved, connected, powerful, and full of purpose– because she is–because her small yes to come tonight will reverberate shalom to our artisans. I’m so excited to know her better.

I’ve prayed for the artisans in Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, India, Kenya, and Vietnam– all of whom need ambassadors like me to harness our love for gathering people, throwing a fun party, and fashion to help create a better future for them.

I think I’m ready.

I think I need coffee.

I think becoming an Ambassador was the best decision I’ve ever made.
