My name is Osheta. It's pronounced, "O-she-da" and so many people have asked if it means something. It doesn't. My dad just made it up.
But if I were to go to Urban Dictionary and create a definition for my name it might say something like this:
An ENFJ mama who loves parties, people, and popcorn with red wine. A pastor's wife who is convinced God has a sense of humor. A Peacemaker who loves Jesus a lot and cusses... a little. An optimistic cookbook reader. A hopeless romantic. A goofball with a little bit of sass.

3 months agoby oshetamMeghan Good is easily one of my favorite pastors. I’m so honored to get to share about “Shalom Sistas” at Trinity Mennonite this morning.
3 months agoby oshetamAn unexpected blessing of our Airbnb is this amazing tub! So while TC practicing some self care by teaching the kids how to play pool, I’m going to finally get to use these bath salts from Thistle Farms and catch up on the latest Essence!
3 months agoby oshetamWe got to hang out with David Meyers at Firehouse 15 today in Albuquerque. Ok listen y’all: I did that thing where you meet someone whose art has impacted you so deeply and I froze! I didn’t communicate how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE his album “The Rescue”. I mean, y’all- I cried big tears and wrote whole sections of “Shalom Sistas” to the title track. The line, “take my hand and run with me past hit insecurity” is so profound for me I want to tattooed on my wrists or turned in to a scripture pierce of wall art.
