My name is Osheta. It's pronounced, "O-she-da" and so many people have asked if it means something. It doesn't. My dad just made it up.
But if I were to go to Urban Dictionary and create a definition for my name it might say something like this:
An ENFJ mama who loves parties, people, and popcorn with red wine. A pastor's wife who is convinced God has a sense of humor. A Peacemaker who loves Jesus a lot and cusses... a little. An optimistic cookbook reader. A hopeless romantic. A goofball with a little bit of sass.

2 days agoby oshetamI love this challenge to tell better stories about our enemies from @preemptivelove . Yes, "love anyway" applies to everyone, all the time. No, it doesn't mean we're cool with Nazis. Because our hearts belong to the oppressed. . Here's what "love anyway" does and does not look like in a situation where torch-wielding Klansmen march through Charlottesville: . "Love anyway" does not mean we tolerate white supremacy or make any room for it in our society. . It does not mean the oppressor and the oppressed should be treated as two sides of the same coin. 6 days agoby oshetamSuch a wonderful and soul nourishing morning. The call to action against white supremacy was powerful and brave. We had a fantastic group discussion on Acts 15, and there was a generous time of sharing prayer requests and praying. And y'all... the benediction sent me off so energized to seek Shalom this week. What a special morning. This is a stunning group of believers. Which I knew they would be because Anabaptists are awesome. #vibeandtribe#shalomsista#mennonite#grateful
