The above line is from Pharrell William’s song, “Brand New” featuring Justin Timberlake.  Yeah, you read that right!  What’s NOT to love about JT and Pharrell teaming up?  And like I suspected, when my friend and story sister, A’Driane Nieves  shared the song, I fell in love with it—immediately.  So it’s the inspiration for today’s addition to “The Sunday Community” . It’s  a PERFECT jam for our family’s upcoming season of transitions.  We’re at a precipice of so many crazy but good leaps of faith. It’s thrilling, yet terrifying to know God has something really cool for us, but a major step of faith is necessary before we see it.  Enter this ultra cool, “Jackson-eque” song that is both a love song and a hopeful dance anthem! While listening to it, I was reminded of that scripture in Isaiah,

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

…which just made me want to dance even more.

For real!  Y’all should have seen me doing “The Carlton” across my kitchen making homemade spaghetti sauce:

Well…maybe not!  Anyway, this song is so infectiously joyful, I’m going to share it with you.

You can now do “The Carlton”.  You’re welcome.

See you back here tomorrow with new words.
